  Have you ever had a prayer answered?

  prayer topics seem to be the bandwagon of the moment so i'm jumping on!

  seriously, has anyone here asked for something specific in prayer and actually gotten what they asked for?

  what convinces you that you wouldn't have got it in any case?

  There had to be a "death" of some sort and a death of something, otherwise the passage, even as symbolisim or hyperbole or whatever, would make no sense at all.

  That raises the age old question, if you are "DEAD" spiritualy, how can you respond to God?

  By gaining life through and having faith in His Son.

  How does a dead spirit(?) do anything... if it's dead? For example: Did/could Lazarus do anything to get resurrected?

  Spiritual death on that day because of their sin.

  That raises the age old question, if you are "DEAD" spiritualy, how can you respond to God?

  ...Well all of those statements attributed to 'Jesus' are the things that make any Jew or a student of Judaism realize that this person didn't really understand Judaism.

  I really have to wonder what makes you so sure that your brand of "Judaism" is "The Way" I don't think YOU understand Judaism.
